Outdoor Flow — Featured by Ca’ Pietra
Our North Somerset Swim Sanctuary project is about movement; guiding you from house across a steeply sloping site, without ever feeling the level change beneath your feet. The pool, terrace, pool house and planting were positioned not as separate elements, but as one harmonious landscape design
Material choice played a quiet but critical role. The limestone palette was selected to soften transitions, reflect light and sit comfortably within the rural setting – bridging rustic but refined architecture with the surrounding landscape.
The result is a garden which sits effortlessly in the challenging landscape.
Ca’ Pietra recently featured this project in their Journal, exploring the materiality and outdoor flow in more detail.
